Sikander Malik lives a middle-class lifestyle in Bombay, along with his parents, who run a musical band and a recording studio. One day the studio catches fire due to a short-circuit instantly killing them but Sikander survives, and after he recuperates, finds that he has now gained the ability to read people's minds whenever he comes in physical contact with them. Years later he has now opened a Unisexual grooming parlor 'Xen's' and has a number of customers including Bhopal-born Tanya Ruia - who wants no one to know that she has separated from her husband, Jaydeep, and son, Rahul; Misha Patel, who sells cocaine to youngsters so that she can fund her need of this drug; collegians Bobby and Tina who secretly meet after hours in the salon; an eccentric young man who calls himself Rage; a successful but abusive businessman, Siddharth Mittal, and his daughter, Nikita.
