When he joins the Royal Navy and is appointed to convoy protection responsibilities, Lt. Cranford lives the life of a playboy athlete till the break out of war. The convoy belongs of the important supply chain that is all that is permitting Britain to combat off the Nazi danger. A German battleship targets the convoy security ships and a lethal game of cat and computer mouse occurs.
