Paul feels left out during the birthday celebration, and then later talks to Ashley about her strange behavior. Jill and Will go out on a date. After saving her from a guy named Jake, Nick and Phyllis take a little time to remember the old times. Jack tells Ashley he planned to propose the Phyllis on the same night he found out about Phyllis sleeping with Nick.
