Chancer: Crane finds the firm has been conned by Fitchford, Lunchbox and Gerald. Jamie Douglas, Roberts demanding son, is home after two years in the French Foreign Legion. His sister Victoria is upset about the theft of her research work. Crane stays on at Douglas Motors, but he falls out with the company accountant. The Legion catches up with Jamie and he has to take a tough decision.
