Knots Landing: Val writes a journal assignment about the Ewing family for her class. Lilimae ends up reading it and then gives it to Abby who shows it to Joe. Joe ends up sending it to a publisher. Richard learns from Laura that she is pregnant, but is going to have an abortion and leave him because she doesn love him anymore. Richard tries to convince Laura that he can change but she still ends up leaving him.
