The Flying Doctors : During a terrible thunderstorm, a young man called Jamie believes he sees a UFO and the Nomad suffers an unusual electronic malfunction. Sam and Geoff rescue Jamie and Lloyd Sumerset after the car they are travelling in is involved in an accident. However when they run tests on Lloyd at the hospital, they discover he is suffering from leukaemia. Geoff links Lloyd's past work at a nuclear testing site with his present medical condition and Lloyd reveals that he has written a manuscript giving details of the dangerous testing that went on, he also believes he is being pursued by the authorities who feel threatened by the potential expose. When he dies, Geoff sends the book to a publisher. Meanwhile, Jamie contacts the press about his UFO sightings.
